We have been involved in a significant number of Starbucks projects across the UK, typically working closely with the same design team. Our clients includes Starbucks direct, franchisees and shell landlords.
Our work falls across RIBA stages 3-5 and includes detailed SuDS/ drainage design individual to each site, structural calculations and/ or SER and associated drawings for submission to building control, provision of Tender information, provision of Construction information and assistance through the Construction process.
The projects involve both new-build and alterations to existing units. The altered units often occur on sites which are very tight for space and have involved running the drive-through lane through the existing building, which typically entails some significant structural alterations.
Although the sites are often tight for space, we always strive to use the green and hard landscaping areas for above-ground collection of surface water through SuDS which include raingardens, swales, filter trenches, bioretention zones and permeable paving and have gained approvals on these schemes through the LLFA in England, SAB in Wales and local authorities in Scotland.
