Savoy Centre Ramp Repairs, Glasgow

Structural engineering services to support repairs to the main service and personnel vehicle access ramp, accessed off Hope Street, for this brutalist beauty.

We carried out a structural survey to check the condition of some heavily corroded rebar on the slab soffit, which had led to concrete spalling off the surface and any potential negative structural implications. We coordinated the structural concrete repairs, designed the temporary works to enable the repairs to be carried out and coordinated the waterproofing solution to the ramp surface to ensure it did not occur again.
