Analysis & design of the supporting cantilever column & associated fixings onto which Andy Scott's magnificent beast stands. The column elevates the leopard by 10m from the structural concrete slab, with the leopard itself around 5m in height and weighing in at approximately two tonnes. As part of our works, we had to seek agreement from the Principal Engineers for the development and coordinate in detail with the superstructure construction information, as the post-tensioned strands were in abundance over the column head into which we were fixing.
