Dalbrack Cottage, Ballater

The original Dalbrack Cottage was found to be destroyed in the aftermath of the Ballater floods of 2015. The client appointed us the next year to design and detail a modern interpretation of the traditional Ballater ‘back house’. We worked closely with Brown & Brown Architects to develop a timber framed solution with ridge structures to create a vaulted roof within the spaces.
